Welcome to Water4Life Mozambique (“we,” “us,” “our,” “W4L Mozambique”). By accessing or using our website at https://water4lifemozambique.org/ (the “Site”), or by donating, subscribing, or interacting with any of our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Site or our services. 

“Donor” or “you” refers to a person or entity that donates funds or engages with our services.
“Services” includes donation processing, newsletters, content distribution, campaigns, and any other features we provide through the Site.
“Content” includes text, images, videos, graphics, logos, data, downloads, and other materials on or provided through the Site.

2.1 Eligibility. You represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction) to use this Site.



2.2 Account / Subscription. Some features (e.g. newsletter subscription) may require you to provide an email or other contact information. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information, and to keep such information up to date.


2.3 Acceptable Use. You agree not to use the Site for unlawful purposes, to harass, defame, or infringe on the rights of others, or to upload or transmit any malicious software or spam.


2.4 Termination. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to suspend or terminate access to the Site, or remove content, for any violation of these Terms or for other reasons, without prior notice.

3.1 Donation Processing. When you make a donation, you authorize us (and our payment processors) to charge your designated payment method (credit card, bank transfer, cryptocurrency, etc.).


3.2 No Refund Guarantee. Except as required by applicable law or by our discretion, donations are non-refundable once processed.


3.3 Use of Donations. Donations designated for water wells will be used to drill, maintain, and supply wells in Mozambique, consistent with our mission.


3.4 Overhead and Administrative Costs. The Site states that 100% of donations go to well drilling, and that overhead is covered by board funding; you accept that this is our declared policy.

3.5 Currency, Fees, and Exchange Rates. If your donation is in a currency other than our operating currency, it may be converted, and you may incur exchange or transaction fees.


3.6 Acknowledgments & Receipts. We will issue a donation receipt or acknowledgment in accordance with applicable tax laws and regulations (e.g., IRS for U.S. donors).

4.1 Ownership. All Content on the Site, unless otherwise indicated, is owned or licensed by Water4Life Mozambique or its licensors, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.


 4.2 License to Use. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.


 4.3 Restrictions. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute Content (in whole or in part) without express written permission (except as allowed under “Sharing” provisions on Site).


 4.4 User-Submitted Content. If you submit content (e.g. comments, testimonials, images) to the Site, you grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute such content in any media. You represent and warrant that you own or control the rights to your submission, and that it does not infringe on the rights of any third party.

5.1 No Warranty. The Site and all Content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted service).


5.2 Accuracy of Information. We do our best to keep information on the Site accurate and updated, but we do not guarantee that all information is current, accurate, or complete.

5.3 Links to Third-Party Sites. The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, practices, or privacy policies, and linking does not imply endorsement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, W4L Mozambique (and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, donations, or reliance on Content, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the Site or these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have donated in the previous 12 months (if any).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless W4L Mozambique (and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates) from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your use of the Site, or your breach of any rights of a third party.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please read it carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9.1 Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Florida for U.S. operations, or Mozambique for local operations), without regard to conflict of laws principles.



9.2 Dispute Resolution. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, such dispute shall be submitted to [mediation / arbitration / courts of specified jurisdiction].



9.3 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable under applicable law, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.



9.4 Waiver. No waiver by us of any right or remedy under these Terms shall be deemed a waiver of any other right or remedy.

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. We will post the revised Terms on the Site with a new “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.
